St Marie-aux-Mines Minerals show 26th - 29th June 2008

Next week will see the return of the St Marie-aux-Mines Minerals. Set in a pretty French village in the Alsace region, this is a fun show to visit. The show runs Friday 27th to Sunday 29th, with Thursday 26th as invitation only professionals day.
This show we will have a really exciting range of specimens including many new finds!!
Brand new Spessartine Garnets from Loliondo, Tanzania, and what is really exciting is that these are the first superb specimens we have seen on matrix!!! The colour is super, bright orange and quite gemmy. The matrix is a shiny Muscovite schist, and there is assocaited Kyanite in a rare orange-brown colour.
