Munich Mineral Show Nov 2-4 2007
The show occurs in three enormous halls in the Messegelande Exhibition Centre which is located an easy ride from Munich town centre on the U-Bahn (U2 line). This year the show will be held the Halls A6 - A4 accessed through the EAST entrance. We will be located in hall A5, booth p12 in the International Mineral Pavillion - look for the white halo above the Pavillion. We have the largest booth in the Pavillion, shared with Kristalle, and will have one of the finest arrays of specimens on display.
There is always plenty to see at the Munich show, with a mammoth range of mineral specimens, fossils, gems, jewellery, displays and a Healing centre. This year's special exhibit themes includes:
- 'Precious Stones of the Himalayas' - This exhibit will include the “King of Asia”, a completely undamaged white tourmaline with a deep red centre, which weighs over 40 kg, and the largest aquamarine crystal in the world!
- Pakistani Minerals from the Collection of Herb Obodda, celebrating his 50th year in the business! Congratulations Herb!!
- The famous fish fossils from the Monte Bolca, Italy;
- 'Flying Dinosaurs'.

And not to forget the many other specimens we will have available - specimens from the Henkel and Eduard Gubelin Collection, superb pieces from the Neeley Collection, plus select specimens from the recently purchased Gerald Clark collection (of LA, USA), and the Charles Hansen collection (of San Diego), both former mineral dealers!
