We will also be showcasing many pieces of the Swiss Suite from the Philadelphia Collection. Most of these specimens have not yet been shown in public and there are many Alpine classics including Quartz, Adularias, Pink Fluorites, and Hematite specimens, plus a few rarities and classics from other Swiss locations including the Binn Valley.

Erythrite - Schneeberg District, Germany
Also from the Philadelphia Collection will be a range of European specimens and a select few UK specimens (as we are still holding many of these back to sell over the internet).
And not to forget the many other specimens we will have available - specimens from the Henkel and Eduard Gubelin Collection, superb pieces from the Neeley Collection, plus select specimens from the recently purchased Gerald Clark collection (of LA, USA), and the Charles Hansen collection (of San Diego), both former mineral dealers! We will have specimens from all over world - South America, USA, European, Tsumeb Namibia, Morocco, Mexico.....

We will also be exhibiting a cabinet of web specimens - of specimen shown on both the Crystal Classics website and the MinVision website (www.MinVision.com). Munich Mineral Show Nov 2-4 2007

The Munich mineral show - Mineralientage München - is almost here running Nov 2-4th 2007. The show is open to trade people only on Friday 2nd 9am-7pm, and to the public on Saturday 3rd 9am-7pm, and Sunday 4th 9am-6pm.
The show occurs in three enormous halls in the Messegelande Exhibition Centre which is located an easy ride from Munich town centre on the U-Bahn (U2 line). This year the show will be held the Halls A6 - A4 accessed through the EAST entrance. We will be located in hall A5, booth p12 in the International Mineral Pavillion - look for the white halo above the Pavillion. We have the largest booth in the Pavillion, shared with Kristalle, and will have one of the finest arrays of specimens on display.
There is always plenty to see at the Munich show, with a mammoth range of mineral specimens, fossils, gems, jewellery, displays and a Healing centre. This year's special exhibit themes includes:
- 'Precious Stones of the Himalayas' - This exhibit will include the “King of Asia”, a completely undamaged white tourmaline with a deep red centre, which weighs over 40 kg, and the largest aquamarine crystal in the world!
- Pakistani Minerals from the Collection of Herb Obodda, celebrating his 50th year in the business! Congratulations Herb!!
- The famous fish fossils from the Monte Bolca, Italy;
- 'Flying Dinosaurs'.

We also have many excellent German specimens from other collections and you can look forward to a range of highest quality Manganites, Fluorites, Acanthites and Native Silver specimens, Emeralds, Erythrites, wonderful Pyromorphites, Wolf Mine Rhodochrosites, Pyrargyrites and Phosphosiderite - just to mention a few! To give you a sneak preview, all the German specimens pictured in this article are all from the Philadelphia Academy, and will be for sale at the Munich show.
